Oven baking changes hard to digest starches into easy to digest dextrins, which are readily absorbed into your dog's system. The secret to good nutrition is not how many nutrients are present in a dog's food, but rather how available they are and how efficiently they can be utilized when digested. The Chicken and Lamb formula is made with rice and wheat. Ordinary dog foods are made with corn. Rice and Wheat are easier to digest than corn; therefore, easier on your dog's system. Various selected parts of the wheat berry are used along with the whole wheat flour as it is one of the most nutritionally balanced grains. A combinaton of grains provides better nutrition than one grain.
There is no sprayed on additive or greasy coating to make the taste acceptable. Ordinary dog foodsare extruded under high pressure and extreme temperatures and then sprayed with fat and other products in order to encourage dogs to eat.
Because the Kibble is high density, you feed 20%-25% less than other foods. Each serving delivers maximum nutrition without fillers, so you'll also notice a lower stool volume and less clean-up.
Feed this natural dog food to your dog once or twice a day. Have plenty of fresh water available. Food requirements vary depending on climate, breed of dog and exercise level. Following are suggested amounts. Feed an amount that will maintain your dog's weight:

It is better to introduce Super Premum foods by mixing with your dog's usual food and inreasing the amount of Flint River Ranch healthy dog food over several days. It will take time for your dog to adjust to the Super Premium quality. A sudden change in any food source may be a shock to your dog's digestive system. You may notice loose stool. If so, reduce the amount being fed until your dog adjusts.
